Kembla KemPex PE-Xa Tube AS2537 & AS2492

Kembla KemPex seamless PE-Xa tube is manufactured to Australian Standard AS2537 & AS2492. KemPex PE-Xa pipe is made of cross-linked polyethylene. Kembla KemPex utilises the production method of silane cross-linking that provides PE-Xa pipe with superior chemical and mechanical performance. KemPex PE-Xa pipe is available in red, green, lilac and black. It also comes with a black anti UV conduit, and is ideal for use with hot and cold potable water supply, recycled and rain water installations.

Kembla KemPex PE-Xa tube is also available in straights, pre-lagged straights and coils suitable for a variety of end-use applications where tube is to be protected from aggressive environments, concealed and/or to indicate the medium being transported (e.g. recycled water). Ideal for drinking water, all Kembla KemPex PE-Xa tubes are Watermark Certified (Licence No. WMKA 2492) and meet the stringent testing requirements of ASTM F876 & ASTM F876 standard specification for cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) hot and cold-water distribution systems.

  • KemPex PE-Xa is a flexible, high strength cross-linked polyethylene piping system.
  • Available in piping lengths, coils and conduit diameters (16-20mm),
  • Rated for standard operation at 1000kPa and 70˚C and a short term maximum temperature of 95˚C.
  • Low thermal conductivity helps to reduce heat loss from hot water services.
  • Tested to AS/NZS 4020 suitable for use in contact with potable water.
  • Smooth inner wall ensures less pressure loss.
  • Service life up to 25 years.
